Hey, everyone. I finally got around to adding caps from the 61st Annual Tony Awards, in which Journey’s End won for best revival of a play back in June 2007. I also am redoing David Copperfield caps, so I added Part 1 screencaps for now, and Part 2 is on its way.

I wont post the entire article, but I’m making note of an article which mentioned the 24 Hour Plays benefit and psoted this little blurb about Hugh’s role. Such a relief to hear!

Another stand-out was Julia Jordan’s funny, Beckettian A Bus Stop Play, with a superpreggers Lili Taylor along with terminally cute Hope Davis and Hugh Dancy in woolen hats. Jordan, director Thomas Kail and the three actors milked much emotion out of very little.

I added a good amount of shots from the curtain call of 24 Hour Plays. I still hope Hugh’s feeling better and was able to perform up to the level that we know he can. Good guy for hanging in there and staying a performer through thick and thin.

Thanks to the New York Times blog, I have one new photo of Hugh in the rehearsals for the 24 Hour Play he was in. I still have no idea what it’s called or what his role was, but when I find out, you guys will be the first to know. Once I find out what it was entitled and who he played, I’ll probably add the pictures over to the Theatre section of the gallery, just for posterity.

I also found out this little tidbit, too, which is relevant to his health and probably his morale. Feel better, Hugh!

Hugh Dancy says he just had throat surgery and would like a role where he doesn’t speak or just has one word, if it’s a good one.
