Hugh mentions in an Eddie Redmayne interview. |

Eddie Redmayne, Hugh’s co-star from Elizabeth I and Savage Grace recently did a hilarious interview in the March 2008 issue of Interview Magazine. He was interviewed by Burberry’s creative director, Christopher Bailey, who is also a friend of Hugh and was seen in the most recent event photos and candid pictures. Enjoy the funny bits below, and read the whole thing here!

Christopher Bailey: But I want you to tell me about Savage Grace: Is that the one where you play Julianne Moore’s gay son?
Eddie Redmayne: Exactly.
CB: And is that the one with Hugh?
ER: That is the one with Hugh Dancy.
CB: And you snog the Dancy?
ER: I get to snog the Dancy. [Bailey laughs] The last time I read Interview magazine, there was an interview with Hugh by a friend of ours called Toby Jones, a wonderful actor, in which the two of them mocked my horse riding in the most barbaric way, and I’ve been angry ever since.

Thanks to YouTube, I added a new snippet of E! News Live from the day before yesterday. Hugh is just mentioned in a promo for Stardust. You can download it in the Video section under TV Appearances or Entertainment Shows. I also added caps to the gallery. Call it superfluous, but Hugh’s on TV three or four times a year!
I also got bored and updated the gallery with some Beyond the Gates trailer captures (the same as the the Shooting Dogs trailer, just with a different lighting), as well as some odd movie/TV posters and a new The Jane Austen Book Club promo still.
• 01 x The Jane Austen Book Club: Promotional Stills
• 01 x David Copperfield: Promotional Stills
• 02 x Blood and Chocolate: Promotional Stills
• 02 x Elizabeth I: Promotional Stills
• 10 x 08/06/07: E! News Live
• 63 x Beyond the Gates: Theatrical Trailer 2

New Interview interview! |

Howdy! There’s just one small little addition to the gallery. I scanned for your enjoyment Hugh’s really fantastic interview in the aptly titled Interview Magazine in which Hugh is interviewed by “Elizabeth I” co-star Toby Jones and the talk of drinking, homoeroticism and being interviewed. You’ve got to love that guy’s sarcastic wit. Anna should be back in a day or two with pictures of Hugh at the Los Angeles premiere of Stardust.

Gallery, DVD news, possible Bronte? |

Happy Sunday! First off, I’ve been adding some sporadic stuff to the gallery - look around, you’ll never know what I replaced. Some curtain call photos from Journey’s End, Hugh attending Emily Mortimer’s wedding with McGregor, perhaps, some other odds things here and there. I think you’ll be very pleased. In addition, I also added some other stuff, too, which is in the last additions by now.
I’m also happy to say you can now pre-order Beyond the Gates (unrated) via Amazon! The DVD will be officially released on Region 1 September 18th, 2007. I only wish it could have had a better theatrical release, but at least now everyone in the USA will be able to see it.
There are also rumors that Hugh is back in Bronte. IMDb user “cstover” said he’s definitely and “officially in,” but as this isn’t a very official source, I’m waiting for the Variety announcement or from the horse’s mouth. If he is, however, it’ll start filming September 2007 and is now in pre-production. I’m happy this film is getting off the ground!
