Eddie Redmayne, Hugh’s co-star from Elizabeth I and Savage Grace recently did a hilarious interview in the March 2008 issue of Interview Magazine. He was interviewed by Burberry’s creative director, Christopher Bailey, who is also a friend of Hugh and was seen in the most recent event photos and candid pictures. Christopher Bailey: But I want you to tell me about Savage Grace: Is that the one where you play Julianne Moore’s gay son?

Eddie Redmayne: Exactly.

CB: And is that the one with Hugh?

ER: That is the one with Hugh Dancy.

CB: And you snog the Dancy?

ER: I get to snog the Dancy. [Bailey laughs] The last time I read Interview magazine, there was an interview with Hugh by a friend of ours called Toby Jones, a wonderful actor, in which the two of them mocked my horse riding in the most barbaric way, and I’ve been angry ever since.

Hey, everyone. I finally got around to adding caps from the 61st Annual Tony Awards, in which Journey’s End won for best revival of a play back in June 2007. I also am redoing David Copperfield caps, so I added Part 1 screencaps for now, and Part 2 is on its way.

Hello, everyone. In lieu of it being so damn quiet, I decided to start a new project: add videos to the Video Library! As many of you have not had the chance to see David Copperfield, one of Hugh’s first starring roles and a miniseries he did eight whole years ago, I figured I’d include some clips. There are more on their way, but I’ve provided you with six for now. Please do not try to download them all at once! I also added a couple of clips from King Arthur and his short scene from Basic Instinct 2 (sorry, Hugh!).

Well, guys, here comes a HDi Exclusive. Eight years ago, Hugh was in the Kavanagh QC series 5 episode, “The More Loving One.” I made a bunch of screencaps and uploaded three parts to his appearance on the show. It was a very emotional episode and he pulled it off well, even early in his career! He was only 24 and it was one of his first gigs. So it’s interesting to watch how his acting tendencies have evolved over the years.
