First of all, it’s my 21st birthday today, so without sounding too pretentious, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! I can finally drink as much Guinness as Hugh can and get away with it! Okay, maybe not as much as him, but a little.

Another bit of exciting news: HDi has a new staff member who’s going to help me, my good friend Ann. Periodically, she’ll be posting her own updates, Hugh news, and uploading pictures. Just to take a little off my back. As a matter of fact, she’s in the stage door photos with me at the Belasco, and she’s a completely awesome chick. Anna and Ann, what more could you want?

I also added a Video to the Evening and Press Junkets tab. It’s an interview from Tribute.ca. You can also watch it on YouTube.

Good morning/good afternoon/good evening, depending on where you are. Thanks to The Fashion Spot, I added a Glamour Magazine scan from the latest issue with a new (great!) interview. You can also read it below. In addition, I added the studio version to that picture. I also added one more The Jane Austen Book Club promo picture and 9 more candids.

I changed a bit of the Video section, too. It’s a lot more organized and it’ll come in handy when you don’t want to scroll so much.

In quick news, Hugh and Claire are reportedly in Rome and Claire is set to attend a Valentino event tomorrow. I’m sure she’ll bring her British man in tow. So watch for that!

Hey, guys, first up: Sweepstakes RESULTS!

CONGRATULATIONS TO NANCY HICKLE! I’ve already sent off the e-mail with more details, so check your mail if you haven’t yet!

Of course, thank you SO much for everyone who participated. The sweepstakes received nearly thirty submissions which was more than enough to make a proper drawing. I hope to do another one of these very, very soon. Thanks again to Special Ops Media.

I also updated the gallery with quite a few things - new pictures and namely caps. I re-added the candids of Hugh and Claire at JFK and LAX with 100% credit to Bauer-Griffin. Thank you especially to Randy Bauer for personally letting me post these. I ask that you please don’t let them leave the gallery. By the way, registrations are back open.

I’ll be adding more videos in the next couple of days, including Hugh on Fuse’s “The Sauce” and one more junket. I’ll probably announce those for download tomorrow. Thank you to DeNece for “The Sauce”! In the meantime, you can watch it on YouTube.

Also, I got the chance to see Evening about five hours ago and I have to say, I really, really enjoyed it. Every Hugh fan can be VERY proud of his performance! The best is yet to come…
