New candids & SOTM!
Bonjour! Firstly, HDi has a brand new SOTM for July (my birthday month!) - Wanting Moore, a Julianne Moore fansite! Savage Grace is months away but it’s an awesome site with great content.
I also added new candids to the gallery thanks to Just Jared. Another Hugh fansite, HD.net, had one extra scan from Zink, so I added that, too. There’s also a new Karlovy Vary photo from this time last year that I put up as well.

Gallery, DVD news, possible Bronte?
Happy Sunday! First off, I’ve been adding some sporadic stuff to the gallery - look around, you’ll never know what I replaced. Some curtain call photos from Journey’s End, Hugh attending Emily Mortimer’s wedding with McGregor, perhaps, some other odds things here and there. I think you’ll be very pleased. In addition, I also added some other stuff, too, which is in the last additions by now.
I’m also happy to say you can now pre-order Beyond the Gates (unrated) via Amazon! The DVD will be officially released on Region 1 September 18th, 2007. I only wish it could have had a better theatrical release, but at least now everyone in the USA will be able to see it.
There are also rumors that Hugh is back in Bronte. IMDb user “cstover” said he’s definitely and “officially in,” but as this isn’t a very official source, I’m waiting for the Variety announcement or from the horse’s mouth. If he is, however, it’ll start filming September 2007 and is now in pre-production. I’m happy this film is getting off the ground!

New layout!
Hey guys! Like I said I would, I launched the new layout. Feedback from everyone is ENDLESSLY appreciated, so whether it’s constructive or just a small comment (or if you see a big, fat mistake I made), don’t hesitate to tell me. I actually think this one is easier on the eyes, less harsh and whatnot. Something about the relaxing, neutral grays and reds.
I also added some gallery additions. One Spanish poster for Beyond the Gates (when it was still called Shooting Dogs), one still from B&C, the Blu-Ray DVD cover (talk about cheesy), and a behind the scenes shot from Evening. If you don’t catch Hugh right away or you’re not convinced, look closer. He’s the one below the hat next to screenwriter Michael Cunningham. I can’t wait for more media from this movie!

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Hugh Dancy Goes Beyond the Gates
The country of Rwanda has been a very weighty subject over the last few years. First, with Don Cheadle’s Hotel Rwanda; and now, John Hurt and Hugh Dancy in Beyond the Gates.
The film is based on actual events that took place in the African country in the mid-1990’s following a group of refugees holed up in a UN makeshift camp. But, when the UN troops pulled out, they left some of the refugees to die.
Hugh spoke to us about taking part in such an emotional film; here’s what he had to say.
Does the atmosphere change on set while you’re making a movie like this? Are you able to have fun?
Hugh Dancy: In the short answer, yes. But in specific to this movie, at times it was challenging and I expected that when I got into it. One was, we were working with the Rwandans, in the crew, and that allowed us not to carry the whole story so heavily; and if they’re not, than what right do you have. They were enjoying life, despite what they were going through. The other thing is we were as far from Hollywood movie making as possible; we were just doing work, and doing our best.

Screenshots, more stage photos, etc.
I’m going to make this snappy. Thanks to Lauren for her contribution of two Hugh pics from the Belasco stage door. I think I would have DIED (will die?). I also added 5 more shots from the Journey’s End opening night, including a magnificent one of him in the curtain call…woot!
I also added an excruating amount of screenshots (200?) from both editions of Broadway Beat from Broadway World. I’ll have the video up at the site later. I have to chop it all up and edit it together. It features some clips of Hugh on stage. :]
By the way, if you’re in the New York or a spot playing Beyond the Gates, SEE IT TODAY!!!! If you’re not sure if it’s playing in your area, go to the Official Site. It opens wide March 16th. I really, really hope IFC pushes a bit more on the promo but it doesn’t look that way.
Keep your eyes open for a new, interactive site exclusive coming up. The first year anniversary is in five days. :]
