First of all, I changed the theme of the Gallery to something a bit different, but I hope you guys like it.

I also added some stragglers from the Stardust premiere (stay tuned for more a bit later) as well as a Savage Grace promo still that’s far too small for it’s own good, but it’s better than nothing.

As you can probably tell by now, I’ve also added a ton of stuff to the Video section including trailers, clips, and more. Keep your eye out regularly for more goodies.

Hugh is also in the latest issue of Best Life Magazine. I’ll pick it up some time soon and scan it all. It’s a full spread.

The 32-year-old stars in Evening, this fall’s The Jane Austen Book Club and was nice enough to get on the phone for some sexy talk with our writer.

Q: So, what are you wearing?

A: I am dressed very slobbishly in jeans and sneakers.

Q: Oh no, that’s not hot at all.

A: Oh, sorry. That’s right. I’m wearing a velvet dressing gown.

Q: That’s very British, Hugh. Is there something you don’t find sexy on a woman?

A: I suppose short skirts and high heels just to go shopping.

Q: What do you think of women’s style in Jane Austen’s day? Do you think corsets are hot?

A: Maybe, in the right moment. Not if you’re in a hurry!

Q: That reminds me, why do Brits call kissing “snogging”?

A: God, I don’t know. I’ve come to prefer the American phrase “making out.” It sounds more fun.

Q: In Evening, you’re a sad guy who loves a girl who doesn’t love him back. What was your first unrequited crush?

A: There have been so many.

Q: I doubt that.

A: No, trust me. I remember there was a girl in grammar school. This is true: I drew in chalk a picture of…I can’t believe I’m saying this…my wedding to her.

Q: Where is she now?

A: I don’t know, but not by my side.

Q: So how did you feel about our phone sex? I’m satisfied.

A: [Laughs.] Yeah, it worked for me.

I browsed OutNow and found two shots of Hugh in Savage Grace. He certainly looks different and I think that’s fantastic. Definitely not what I expected! The more he can break out of the pretty boy mold, the better, and he looks like he’s more than well on his way to achieving that. I really cannot wait to see more stuff coming from this film, I hope there’s a trailer soon.

By the way, The Jane Austen Book Club now has a release date: September 21st. It begins in an exclusive run in New York and Los Angeles and extends further. Only four months to go!

Hey guys, I’m finally back.

First of all, Savage Grace debuted at the Cannes Film Festival to good reception. Granted, it’s not a movie you’ll want to take your mom and grandma to once it hits a release. It’s said to be a highly steamy movie covering uncomfortable territory (one including incest). Hugh plays a character that seduces both Julianne Moore and Eddie Redmayne, the latter more than the former. I personally can’t wait. I love to see him branch out and play characters that break the mold.

Journey’s End also picked up 3 awards at the 2007 Drama Desk Awards: Best Play Revival, Best Sound Design, and Best Featured Actor for Boyd Gaines. Congratulations! The Drama Desk Awards are to the Tonys what the Golden Globes are to the Oscars.

I also have the OUT Magazine article that I’m planning to add to the Press section some time today. I’ll hopefully be able to pick up the magazine some time this week or at least receive scans from one person I know. With finals coming up, I really have to set my priorities.

Morning, you guys! First of all, let me get to the news. According to Broadway World and a Times ad, Journey’s End is set to close in “31 performances,” or June 10th, the day of the Tony’s (I assume they’ll finish up their matinee and rush to the theatre). This is a little disconcerting but at the same, not surprising. It’s an honor that it lasted as long as it did, almost to its entire limited engagement (if not two weeks short). They were truly waiting for Tony nods and they got them. If you have the opportunity to see this amazing show once or again, go see it!
