Shooting Dogs Posters & Blood and Chocolate Still
I added two seemingly unseen or new Shooting Dogs (”In Every Human Heart“?) posters to the gallery as one new promo shot from B&C that I came across. Tis good to Google at midnight!
Announcement! If you want more Hugh in your LiveJournal life, I invite you to join DancyFans! Melly and I hope to keep it as up to date as this site. Plus, it’ll just be a great place for Dancy fans to flock to just to talk about that boy…man. Guy. So please join!
Finally, HDi also has a new affiliate, Ed Speelers Online, dedicated to the cute kid in Aragon. Check ‘em out.

“In Every Human Heart” shoe in.
It looks like, according to IMDB and MovieWeb.com, we should expect a title change for Shooting Dogs in the light of In Every Human Heart for U.S. shores. Another release date that might be inevidable is February 2nd, 2007 in limited theatres. I’m not going to lie and not put out my opinion. It’s a crap time to toss in a movie that really should get a pre-January release (to apply for Oscars), but I digress. I thought you guys should be the first to know. As it stands, we’ll could have three Hugh releases in 2007!
HDi’s previous affiliate, Cliveowen.org, is now under new management and has changed its URL to Clive-Owen.org. It’s still an excellent Clive source (and as you know, he was one of Hugh’s co-stars in King Arthur), not to mention a beautiful fansite. So check it out.
One last thing, over this weekend I’ll be endeavoring to spruce up the Media section, adding videos and audio and overcompensating for what isn’t there! Thank you for your patience.

One new affiliate and possible “Shooting Dogs” title change?
Just one quick general site update to say that we have a new affiliate, Joseph Gordon-Levitt Fan. We also have had a new Top Affiliate for Kate Bosworth Online, a fansite I help a friend of mine run. :]
To anyone who is anxious to see pics of Hugh but is grumbling under their chin about the gallery not being up (same here), join or visit the forum! If you haven’t already. There are a bunch of goodies there.
As far as the “Shooting Dogs” title change goes, “Shooting Dogs” (Hugh’s film based on the 1994 Rwandan genocide) is getting U.S. distribution on what looks to be March 21st, 2007, according to its blog. But that is liable to change. Keep in mind that it will likely be a small, isolated, art house-isolated release and wont get the full treatment. There still isn’t distribution details, but I’ll keep you posted.
Anyway, according to Independent Critics (who gave it a B- and said things about Hugh’s performance that I don’t necessarily agree with), here’s what they had to say about the possible title change. Looks like a definite wait and see.
“Shooting Dogs” has been optioned for distribution by IFC under the name “In Every Human Heart” with an actual U.S. release date pending. The BBC production is reportedly already available on DVD in England.

‘Dogs,’ ‘Hip Hop’ Heartland winners.
“Shooting Dogs,” Michael Caton-Jones’ film about genocide in central Africa, and “The Hip Hop Project,” the Bruce Willis-produced documentary, were the big winners at the 15th annual Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis, which attracted its largest audience yet, 18,184 people.
The $100,000 Grand Prize for Best Dramatic Feature went to Caton-Jones’ film, which stars John Hurt as a British priest and Hugh Dancy as his acolyte as they confront the limits of their courage in 1994 Rwanda.
