No, this isn’t an April Fool’s joke. Dear god, at least I hope not. Hugh Dancy’s father, moral philosopher Jonathan Dancy, is slated to be on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, which airs on CBS after David Letterman. Let’s just hope he lives through with his promise and wears leather trousers, smokes a pipe, and wears a cardy.

Here is the interview with Hugh’s wife, Claire Danes, that inspired the appearance.

Several weeks ago, I found this clip on YouTube of Hugh’s unseen appearance on the “Essential Byron” production. I had previously heard of this, but I was never able to track it down. It magically appeared out of no where. He reads the poem “She Walks in Beauty” by Lord Byron. I don’t have the exact date on when this aired or when it was filmed, but I reckon it was around the same time he did David Copperfield and Cold Feet. You can watch it below.

Hugh was also on the British morning show, GMTV, on July 2, to promote the movie, which is out in UK cinema’s on July 31. I also added pictures of Hugh from the 8th at a screening of Adam in Los Angeles. I am chuffed to see this film getting the publicity it deserves.
