So we asked the author—a Time magazine veteran who’s found his true calling in fiction writing—what his ideal cast would look like. Here’s what he envisions:

‘The Children of Helen House’ is a very moving account of terminally ill children which are treated and accompanied during the last days in the Helen House Children’s hospice which is so highly regarded that it became a model for children’s hospices all over the world. The TV show will be broadcast on BBC 2 in eight parts the first of which was shown last night.
