HUGHDANCY.info: The Largest Hugh Dancy Source on the Web
February 19, 2007

Here come the updates.

Thanks to eBay, I grabbed about 4 shots of the Journey’s End Playbill. For those who don’t know, this is the almost famous program that comes with all Broadway shows. When I see the show for myself, I hope to pick up about twenty of these of my own. If you’ve already seen the show and have a scanner, feel free to send in high quality scans! I’ll give you full credit. If you’d like to bid on the items, they’re both under any “Hugh Dancy” search. The price for one of them is still reasonable.

I also added a new 2007 Press item from the New York Post. Hugh addresses the Claire rumors once and for all, as well as talking about Rwanda and London. You can read it from their website or by clicking here.

Please also welcome new affiliates Vera Farmiga Online, Penelope Fan, and JenniferCarpenter.org, all owned and operated by HDi’s good friend Maria @ Saffron Burrows Web. If you’d like to be an affiliates to this website, just drop me an e-mail. Please note that I am currently no longer accepting Top Affiliates.

Gallery registrations will be back in three days!

Remember when it was sane in the Hugh world? That was three days ago. Yeah, I remember those days, too. Hell, I even remember what I had for breakfast that day.

So yeah, in case you haven’t realized it yet, some paparazzi photos of Hugh and Claire holding hands in New York broke. Eh, the whole thing seems fishy to me, but I’ll leave my opinions to myself. I included the one from People.com, too, because it’s tagless.

On the career front (because please, can we just focus on his career? and that was me asking no one in particular), I added some caps to an interview from Broadway.com, capped by Mel. Thank you! I’ll try and get it on the site (it’s flash), but in case I can’t, you can watch it there.

Katja’s crew also added 3 Blood and Chocolate wallpapers to their site, so I added those, too.

HDi also has a new top affiliate, Annie-Hathaway.com, dedicated to Hugh’s co-star in Ella Enchanted.

MGM has launched the official site for B&C, as well as an official MySpace featuring the trailer, promotional buttons, and a bunch of photos we’ve already seen.

I added 8 new screenshots to the gallery for both websites, Hugh-centric shots and then just misc. MySpace images. Whatever. I was feeling generous. On a happy note, I received my Journey’s End tickets from Telecharge!

HDi also have one new affiliate: Nicole Richie World

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas or Jewish holiday, whichever you celebrate! And as always, a lovely New Year.

According to this article on co-star Kevin Zegers, The Jane Austen Book Club has wrapped! As quoted: “And The Jane Austen Book Club with Emily Blunt and Marc Blucas. That’s just finished. It’s really good. So there’s that.”

Hooray! My only estimate is that he’s got Broadway rehearsals next…off to the Big Apple. ;] Another thing is that Shooting Dogs could again be getting its 3RD RENAME! This time from the sappy In Every Human Heart to Beyond the Gates, a much better name but still without the punch of the original. I think I’ll take that one over the first rename ever though.

HDi also has a new affiliate, Long Ago Captures, which features caps of Hugh’s movies King Arthur and Daniel Deronda as well as others. Enjoy.

ETA: Added a bunch of Blood and Chocolate media! 9 promotional stills and 1 preview screenshot of the upcoming official website. Hugh looks beautiful. Credit again goes to Katja von Garnier’s site. Thanks for linking to our website, guys. :]
